Pallavi & Chirag
Tentative This running order is still moving. Times and places may shift — this page updates the moment they do, so check it again the week before you travel.

Several things run at once, and that is deliberate. Nothing here needs you to be anywhere on time except the phere — arrive, eat, wander, and join whatever is happening when you get there.

Every ritual, explained

If you have never been to an Indian wedding: start here. Nothing on these two days requires you to know anything in advance — but it is all much better if you do.

A few practical things

Come and go. Events overlap on purpose. You are not late for anything and you are not missing anything — walk in whenever you arrive.

Day Two is long. Bangles at eight, dinner until eleven. The one thing worth being on time for is the phere at 1:30pm — that is the wedding.

Fly home on Monday. Sunday runs past eleven at night. Monday is breakfast, check-out and goodbyes.

The fort is vertical. Fourteen tiers, no lift, worn stone. Nothing on this schedule is more than a few minutes' walk, but almost all of it involves steps. Allow more time than you think, especially between the varmala and the phere.

Photographs. Shoot everything except the phere. That one is being covered professionally and you will want to have watched it rather than filmed it.

It gets cold. Both evening events are outdoors and February nights at Neemrana drop to 8–11°C. Bring a layer to every dinner.
